Costantino Gucci and Francesco Doria met during their studies at Central Saint Martins in London, where an ongoing dialogue emerged around conceptual research, material experimentation, narrative, and the boundary between art and design.
Their collaboration developed from the desire to combine two distinct yet complementary visions: on one hand, Costantino’s approach, rooted in the experimentation with reflective materials and in the relationship between object, observer, and perception; on the other, Francesco Doria’s practice, which focuses on the relationship between reality and imagination through a mixed technique that integrates photography and figurative drawing, simultaneously representing what the eye sees and what the mind envisions.
Throughout their collaboration, Costantino and Francesco have developed projects that merge aesthetics, experience, and narrative, where reflective surfaces, fragmented imagery, and visual storytelling intertwine, suspending observation between reality, imagination, and symbolism. Together, they create works in which form, image, and space enter into dialogue, challenging the boundaries between perception and materiality.
